Extension of Government Pension Minimum Drawdown Relief
On 30 June 2010, the Government announced that the Pension minimum drawdown relief for income streams would be extended for the 2010/11 financial year.
This means that under the relief, members have the option of reducing the Government Minimum Income Payment Limit amount by up to 50%. We will include further details on the drawdown relief in our regular communication to you concerning income payment limits for the upcoming year, which you should receive by the 15th July 2010.
